Sealskinz are an English company that specializes in waterproof gloves, socks and hats. All manufacturing and design is done in England.

I have been using  and testing Sealskinz Sporting Glove for 6 months. This glove is designed for sportfishing and hunting. This glove is design with the ability to fold back thumb and index finger so you have the use of your fingers without removing the glove, when tying a knot. The glove is made of a thin ripstop fabric with a water and windproof membrane between the outer fabric and lining fabric. There is thin skin on the palms, which I feel gives a good grip even when wet.
I have used these gloves during pikeflyfishing and they work perfectly for this. With the fingers “free” you get direct contact with the fly line and lose no feel to the line compared to standard gloves. It is also possible to keep the fish in a gillgrip with the index finger when you remove the hook without having get your fingers in the gills and harm both fish and gloves. I always pikeflyfish by wading, so I never have to lift the fish out of water. There may be different from fishing from a boat.
I have also tested the gloves when jerkbait fishing and they work perfectly. I even think that the gloves are so smooth, so you must not remove the fingertips when using a multi-reel, it works well with the glove fingertips on. The fact that you do not get wet in these gloves gives a feeling of  warmth and comfort even though there is no padding in them

I highly recommend the gloves when fishing and they are a big step forward from traditional neoprene gloves, but they are also in the upper price segment.
