A jensen gear opinion

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I was out yesterday and tried out Some A. Jensen gear, the rod spooky sea trout and some of their lines too. They felt pretty solid (good quality).

Does anyone here have experience with A Jensen?

Do you recomend it?

Thank you in advance :)

Yes. I tested their new rods a few weeks ago. The 9' #6 rod in their premium line was very nice.

I like the old Vector intermediate line in WF6I. That line loads fast and has a very nice harmony in the presentation and it suits my way of casting perfect. The newer lines has a very short belly and suits casters who like to fish with shooting heads and thin running lines. In my opinion a typical danish style.

I fish with two Ajensen rods at the moment, a Cheetah #8 and a Spook LL #5. Nice actions in these rods and good balanced. I have also had a Ajensen Seatrout Specialist rod that where good but not fully in my taste. Also have Vector lines and they are easy to use. Ajensen gives good value for your money but lives in the shadow of other companies at least in Sweden.
