Höstmosaikslända (Aeshna mixta)

The Migrant Hawker is probably the commonest and most widespread Hawker in Europe, although it's largely absent from Scandinavia and tends to be rare in the British Isles. Aeshna mixta is a fairly small species whose body colours are mainly brown and blue (males) or brown and yellow (females). It typically flies in late summer and well into autumn (our latest date for this species so far is 5 November). Apart from its smallish size, the species' most distinguishing feature is the yellow T-shaped mark on S2.

Den var ju 15-20cm lång , hur ser de stora ut då?
